NYCFC: Where to watch the U.S. Open Cup match

Since the Copa América Centenario and 2016 Euro Cup have kicked off, it’s been a full day of soccer–literally.

There’s three Euro Cup matches starting early in the morning with the last one starting at three in the afternoon. After a couple hours, the Copa America kicks-off around seven with the last match starting at 10.

With the Euro Cup closing up today, and the Copa America taking a day break, it’s time to get back to MLS action with the fourth round of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup taking place. New York City F.Cwill host the New York Cosmos at Fordham University tonight at 7:30 and if you don’t have any tickets then there’s nothing to worry about.

Last year since NYCFC weren’t the hosts, the game wasn’t televised and therefore making it harder for supporters to catch the game. This time around, with NYCFC playing host, the YES Network will televise the fourth round battle and since the New York Yankees are out West, there’s no time conflict.

Nowadays, if you can’t find your team on the channel list, then you have to rely on soccer apps and twitter feeds which raises your anxiety level.

So if you’re having trouble finding tickets, scrambling around for extra seats at Jack Coffey Field and you’re not a Comcast customer, then just tune into the YES network right at home and watch Patrick Vieira attempt to grab NYCFC’s first ever cup victory.
