Ever since joining NYCFC, the legendary soccer players have been immortalized in the Big Apple and now they’ve been honored with their very own double-deck tour bus. The Ride Of Fame, which was founded in 2010 as part of the 100th anniversary with Gray Lines, have dedicated three buses to the NYCFC players.

Each bus is dedicated to one player with their artwork displayed right in front of the bus, they also penned a personal message on a seat of that bus. In it’s fifth year, Ride of Fame has honored multiple athletes such as New York Yankees’ legend Mariano Rivera, Mets’ third baseman David Wright and New York Rangers goalkeeper Henrik Lundqvist.
These mobile monuments are dedicated to celebrated personalities making a large impact to their fans with specific ties to New York City and other cities around the world. There’s not a doubt in the world that Villa, Pirlo and Lampard have made an impact in NYC, especially all over the world.
What seems to be a very hectic time for these players as they make a final push for that clinching spot, the players seem laid back as they were taking photographs and signing autographs with their beloved fans. This small gesture just goes to show how big of an impact these players have made. In it’s inaugural season, especially Villa, has brought the soccer fans of NYC together.
