NYCFC has new stadium renderings

NYCFC has released new stadium renderings, adding to the excitement of the club's future home. The last release involved the supporters' section. This time around, the club released renderings regarding the Premium Hospitality area.

The Premium Hospitality section of the stadium will include areas for eating and socializing. There will be places for the fans to watch the game inside. Plus, those who have what will likely be the expensive tickets will have their own entrance into the stadium. The club smartly made the people the renderings well-dressed, implying not everyone will be able to afford these fancy accommodations.

It appears the section will have a fancy and homey design, with a mix of modern and traditional. Wood floors and walls will be a part of the design while the lighting looks to be more modern. The renderings also reveal a place called the Tunnel Club. It also shows where people would enter the suites. The renderings are impressive and fans can assume this will be the nicest area of the stadium.

Thiago Martins represents NYCFC at the All-Star Game

Only one NYCFC player was named an All-Star. Thiago Martins represented the club on Wednesday in the annual match. This year, the MLS All-Stars played against the best Liga MX players, sadly falling 4-1.

Martins started the match beside Justen Glad of Real Salt Lake and played the entire first half. Substitutes are made throughout the match to protect players. In other words, the NYCFC captain was going to play a maximum of 45 minutes, and so he did. He had a decent game, but he and Glad could not do enough to help keep the Liga MX players out of goal.

It was a great experience for the center-back, but many fans believed Matt Freese was snubbed from the fixture. It would have been nice to see the goalkeeper there with Martins. However, it is not the end of the world.

On another note, NYCFC II player Drew Baiera represented the club in the MLS NEXT All-Star game. His goal in the first half tied the game and the East went on to beat the West 4-2.
