Skyscraper Blues has steadily grown as FanSided’s home for NYCFC coverage since the site was first launched. We know that there is a passionate fan base eager for news, opinion, and discussion about all the areas of the team they love, and the team here has been there to cover it all. That has always been our goal here at Skyscraper Blues: To give our readers the very best discussion that we possibly can.

Consider yourself a passionate fan? Read us or other NYCFC sites with regularity? Scour message boards for all the news and discussion on the team you can find? Ever wonder if you should write about NYCFC soccer yourself? We are looking to add to our group of contributors and this could be your chance to join the team.

Role Description

We like to let our team write about the aspects of NYCFC they are most passionate about. We write "from the fan's perspective" about all the things passionate fans are discussing about their favorite team. We don't just write about what is happening, but what it means, what we think about it, and what might happen in the future because of it. Through it all, the common plotline is always further fueling your fandoms, whatever they may be. No matter what your pertinent interests may be, there could be a place for you here on the team at NYCFC!

Contributors are asked to write one post per month. We’ll always welcome more frequent contributions than that, but we won’t require it.

We understand that everyone has their own motivation for wanting to write about their favorite topics. No matter what your reason, this is a chance to join a team of writers who are simply passionate and want to continue to reach the rest of this great fan base.
