NYCFC vs Toronto FC: How to watch and time of Eastern Conference clash

The 2024 season has not been going well for New York City FC.  The Pigeons have lost all three of their games so far, and have only scored once.  The concerns about the team, who should be performing better, continue to grow.  At the same time, the calls for the removal of Nick Cushing get louder and louder.  Patience is getting thinner and thinner.

That is why this weekend’s game against Toronto FC is critical.  The Bronx side must win.  Based on the last two matches played against the Reds, it would seem like a sure thing.  However, the Canadian team has started the season off strongly.  They have seven points out of nine.  They also score goals and defend narrow leads. Both wins ended 1-0.

Unquestionably, supporters are nervous about this battle.  NYCFC is in a bad place right now.  The game could turn into another difficult watch, whether one is watching in person or watching at home.  Although, it is the beautiful game.  Anything can happen, and perhaps the Pigeons will still have the edge over Toronto.  Maybe, Cushing will try to change up the Starting XI and give Jovan Mijatović a shot.

That is why, no matter what happens, supporters need to continue supporting the players.  They are going through the tough times too.  Hopefully, NYCFC will get their first win of the 2024 season, and give fans a reason to cheer.
